Schedule, Fees & Housing

This page contains important information on schedules, fees, payments and housing. Please read thoroughly.

The St. Louis Cabaret Conference takes place on the campus of Saint Louis University, an urban campus in midtown St. Louis. Participant housing is conveniently located on the same campus.

Traditional Track, Next Step Track and Professional Track Conference hours:
Morning sessions    9:00 am – 12:30 pm
Lunch Break             12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
Afternoon session     2:00 pm-5:30 pm
Dinner Break            5:30 pm-7:00 pm
Evening Session*     7:00 pm-10:00 pm
* Evening Sessions may take place on evenings without performances.

There will be evening performances of student showcases and faculty performances July 18-23.

FEES

(Please note the following fees do not include housing).

Traditional Track - $1475
Next Step Track - $2575
Professional Track - $3500

Upon acceptance you will receive an invoice stating amount and dates due.

APPLICATION FEE

There is a $150 application fee for the St. Louis Cabaret Conference. If you are accepted into The St. Louis Cabaret Conference the $150 application fee will be applied towards your total fee. If you are not accepted, all but a $35 processing fee will be refunded to you. No application will be considered without paying this fee.

Payments & Refund Policy

A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within two weeks of your acceptance in order to hold your spot.  Deposit must be received before your spot is guaranteed.

May 1, 2017 is the Final Payment deadline for those who applied under the February 15th Round #1 timeframe.

June 15, 2017 is the Final Payment deadline for those who applied un the April 15th Round #2 timeframe.

Refund Policy

Your $500 deposit is non-refundable. No refunds on any additional any payments will be made after June 1, 2017. No exceptions.

You may pay by check or credit/debit card.

Credit/debit card payments are accepted (note that there is an additional 3% processing fee when using your debit/credit card).  If you wish to set up card payments, contact contact Tim Schall at info@stlouiscabaretconference.com or 314-359-0786.

HOUSING

Housing is available at an additional cost and located on the campus of Saint Louis University, an urban campus in midtown St. Louis. Housing is provided in student apartments that consist of 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. 4 singers share each apartment. Each singer has his/her own bedroom and 2 singers share a bathroom. There is a small kitchen that is equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and utensils. Kitchen and living area are shared by all occupants.

The apartments are within a one-minute walk to Xavier Hall where all of the master class sessions take place. Stairs are part of the access to some of the apartments. If you have a special need that affects your mobility, please contact Tim Schall at info@stlouiscabaretconference.com in order to reserve a first floor unit.

Cost for housing is as follows:

Traditional Track - $450 for 6 nights
Next Step Track - $530 for 8 nights
Professional Track - $595 for 9 nights

MEALS

There are several options for meals.

The Saint Louis University Cafeteria is conveniently located near your housing and classroom spaces. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are served daily for $6 per meal.  

If you would prefer to eat on your own, there are several restaurants on campus and others that are nearby or require a short drive or approximately 10-minute walk. They range from fast food to higher end dining.

If you wish to do your own cooking in your apartment’s kitchen there is a Whole Foods and a local grocery chain within approximately a 10-minute drive from St. Louis University.

Participants without a car have found that Uber is a great and affordable option for short trips to local stores and restaurants.
